"Today's post is the first of two posts featuring daisy playsuits!
Apologies for my pictures looking really gloomy, it's been foggy thanks to this crazy toxic Saharan sand cloud, t'riffic!
This first look features my beautiful lace back daisy playsuit from Madam Rage!
It's blue with a white / yellow daisy design and has this gorgeous lace panel at the back. It's more of a summery playsuit but I'm still wearing it with a biker jacket because it's still cold out, I couldn't even take my jacket fully off to picture the lace back.

I cant wait to do a more summery post with this playsuit, perhaps in a meadow or corn field... "

Bang on style review

Our latest Blogger's Review has got us feeling all summery here at Madam Rage HQ! With the weather finally starting to resemble something similar to what spring should feel like, we are offically allowed to take those extra layers off, and get out those gorgeous summer dresses that have been looking miserable and unloved in your wardrobe all winter!

So our latest guest blogger, Debs Stubbington (author of 'Bang On Style') has shown us exactly how to style up one of our printed numbers for those summer days to come!

Time to whack out those sunnies ladies, spring is officially here!

Dress - Madam Rage*

 Watch - eBay

 Boots - Boohoo*

When the sun comes out I think it calls for some colour in your outfit. I'm so sick of wearing black and dark colours that its so nice to wear something bright for a change. I love the vibrant coral of this Bird Print Collar dress by Madam Rage . It has a contrast peter pan style collar and button detail and the cutest bird print all over. Its also a gorgeous lightweight fabric so perfect for those balmy summer days that we're all set to experience if the weathermen are truly to be believed!!  I felt so much more summery just by wearing it.

If its really warm I'd wear it like this with bare legs and some light coloured cut out boots but I also love this dress worn over skinny jeans too for a quirky look. I love the look of the contrast mint nails with this coral colour too.

Check out Madam Rage for lots more cute dresses and so many under £20, this dress is down to £10 now so you can grab yourself a summer bargain.

So there you have it Ladies, how to style up one of our oh so girly spring/summer dresses. For more dresses like this, at beyond brilliant prices, shop our webesite now!

Dotty Rouge is Loving!

8 Apr 2014 10:46:46

This week we have  a special blog feature from vintage loving rockabilly, Dotty Rouge! She's spoilt us for choice with her blogger's review of our 'Chambray Spot Dress'. Showing how to wear it 5 different ways, she's given you plenty of vintage inspired tips on how to style up and wear this dress,  not matter what the occassion!

We have lots of love for her over at Madam Rage HQ, and hope you enjoy her post as much as we did!

Madam Rage is one of my favourite online shops. Their clothes are always great quality, low cost and beautiful so today's blog is going to feature their Chambray Spot Dress. I first discovered Madam Rage when I was into "playful vintage" and bought a great 60s style dress that I still love and wear a year and a bit later. As a student on a limited budget, Madam Rage is always a great place to shop as their clothes are great quality without having too big a price tag. I cannot fault this company as they always deliver on style and service so definitely go and check out their website! (

I was a little sceptical about the Chambray Spot Dress initially because as a 50s girl it was a very different shape to the majority of my wardrobe but as soon as I put the dress on and did a bit of accessorising, I loved it! The material is light weight yet still warm, making it the perfect spring/summer crossover dress and it's pale denim colour means it can be paired with most other coloured accessories, tights, jackets or cardigans. It's polka dot print is super cute and brings the dress right into fashion with latest print trends. I love the versatility of the Chambray Spot Dress because it means that you can use it as a wardrobe staple, re-wearing it in multiple combinations without looking like you're wearing the same old thing again. You could really dress it down, and it's even the perfect dress for a trip to the beach over your bikini or swimsuit, or you could dress it up with some heels, a leather jacket and a clutch for a night out. I would really recommend this dress as I think it looks and feels great. And, at £24.00 it's great value!

Here are just a few ways I accessorised the dress to create 5 very different looks.

Look One- Playful

For the first look, I teamed the Chambray Spot Dress with some bright pink Dr Martens and a pink Bowler Hat from Minimum Mouse. This is probably my favourite look of the five and is a great look for everyday wear. For example, you could wear this to college or university or even for a shopping trip. It's very relaxed and also comfortable yet still stylish.

Look Two- Rockabilly

Look Two is a lot more like my usual wardrobe. I teamed the dress with a black waspie belt here to gain the nipped in waist effect that I adore and put a college jacket from New Look over the top to complete the look. Again, this is a really wearable everyday look that you could team with converse or ballet pumps. But this is also a look that is dressed up quite easily by putting on some heels instead. This look, for me, is reminiscent of summer nights, something I am really looking forward too!

Look Three- Swinging Sixties

Look three reminds me of the swinging sixties with the short dress and white tights. I did very little accessorising for this look except for putting my hair up into a beehive and adding some cream/white tights, simple yet cute.

Look Four- Colour Pop

Look four uses colour to really make the dress pop. Here, I added a pair of red tights; a heart shaped belt to give that nipped in waist effect and put a red bow in my hair to carry the pop of colour throughout the outfit. This is a really fun and playful look that you could easily dress up with a pair of heels. You don't have to colour pop with red, you could try yellow, green, pink, blue, white, and even orange. Be bold!

Look Five- Double Denim

The final look I did was a double denim look. Whilst the dress isn't made of denim it has a denim look to it. Here, I added a denim shirt, tied at the front. This is another great summer look and would look great teamed with some Converse, sandals or even Dr Martens.

So there you have it, the Madam Rage Chambray Spot Dress worn five ways. If you want to buy the dress click on this link:

Monday Blues?

Monday Blues

Doesn't the weekend just seem to fly by? If you're feeling the after effects of a weekend spent well, you are most probably feeling the Monday Blues today!

Not to worry, you're not alone! We also know that sinking feeling when you realise it's 9pm on a Sunday night, and you have to be up in 8 hours to begin battling the morning beauty regime! Here at Madam Rage, we believe there is one cure, and one cure alone for Monday Blues (apart from pretending it is Friday already). Shopping.

It's so easy and so accessible to shop our online store now, so easy that you can do it whilst on your morning coffee break, or lunch hour, or even on the bus/ train/ tube home from work. Nothing quite beats the uplifting feeling of snatching up a bargain, or seeing that the dress you've been eyeing up, (but couldn't quite afford) has finally been reduced.

And do you know where you can get that feeling? We'll give you a hint, it begins with S, ends with E, and promises not to hurt your bank account. It also helps avoid that little voice in your head shouting at you, when you know you may have accidentally (on purpose), maxed out your credit card.

That's right, you guessed it. It's the joy of logging on and seeing that your favourite one stop shop for fashion has its spring sale on. And if that doesn't cure your Monday blues, then you may as well keep on wishing you could just crawl back into bed.

Here at Madam Rage we have our spectacular spring sale on, which promises some of this season’s hottest trends, at a fraction of the catwalk cost. We have a range of blue dresses to match your mood today, to spring florals and pretty pastels if you are feeling a bit more cheery!

Don't lose hope our fashion fanatic followers, Monday is almost over!

Only 4 days until the weekend!

"Geo Waves"

Geo Waves

Topshop shoes | H&M shirt Topshop watch | H&M hat | MadamRage dress

This week we received our Blog Feature from the Internationally published photographer and British blogger, Annia Harrup.
We are loving the Geometric  Monochrome Trend right now as much as she does, and love the way she has styled up her blogger's gift (Geo Pleat Dress £26).
Styled with her own twist of casual & minimalist accessories, she has rocked the perfect 'Geo Girl' look, that can work from day to night, with a quick shoe swap. You too can work this trend by shopping our Geometric Prints now!
Below you can read the full feature, or visit her full blog @

"Normally I feel more elegant when I am the most comfortably dressed in the room. I like relaxed fashion, I suffocate under colours and chunky accessories. It's very rare I wear dresses but this week I got gifted a bloggers package from Madam Rage; bold prints have been catching my eye so this geometric monochrome dress was perfect. The material is so light and gives it so much swish. I teamed my summer dress with easy slip on's from Topshop in a matte snake print, another current obsession love of mine, and a summer essential hat from H&M. I can feel as summer approaches my bohemian vibes seeping through my monochrome love and bringing me closer to my beach home.
In spirit of summer I made the decision get inked with a reminder of my journey through the waves in Bournemouth, a simplistic wave on my right wrist marks memories of courage and adventure."

This playsuit is very versatile, you can actually wear it 2 ways and it looks fab. I recently wore a similar Topshop playsuit back to front and it actually looked really cool, and you can do the same with this Madam Rage one. Take a look at the playsuit through this link here: Madam Rage Daisy Print  Lace Back Playsuit

All you need when you wear it back to front is a nude/white coloured bra and some tit tape to hold the lace down. Then you have a fab outfit and your rearing to go.

Style Tips:

            - For a night out, team this playsuit with some cute block heel sandals, nothing too snazzy so it doesn’t distract away from the daisy print. (See photos below)

        - For a daytime outfit, combine the playsuit with some platform trainers and if it is on the chilly side, a denim jacket or cute knit cardi."
