Temporary: Secretary wears our 2 in 1 contrast lace dress

One of our favourite bloggers, the gorgeous Temporary: Secretary has reviewed one our best selling dresses (2 in 1 lace contrast dress £28) and has added her personal touch to the styling and we LOVE it! …

Here is what she had to say:

Bowler Hat and Pastels

I’m wearing all kinds of colours here! A pink and white dress from Madam Rage with pastel green clutch, lilac ballet pumps and multi coloured nails (all Barry M and Boots 17 range) plus, my new favourite accessory… Minnie Mouse watch! It comes in the cutest tin packaging! I had the same one when I was little, so I bought it mainly for nostalgic values as I don’t usually wear a watch and I often rely on my phone to tell the time. What better way to team my 90′s style watch with a classic 90′s friendship bracelet, which were the craze back when I was a youngling! Back then, my mum got me a friendship bracelet kit from Toys R Us and I used to make them for my friends, but as I have no patience to do this sort of thing anymore, the bracelet I’m wearing in the pics is made by Ella. I purchased four from her shop, 2 for me and 2 for Niki. I always ask her if she could send one in a girl colour and another in “boy colours”! (Thank you, Ella! and sorry for being an awkward customer!)

Madam Rage sent me a couple of dresses from their lovely new collection – they know how crazy I am about dresses! I layered up the necklaces and I did actually go OTT at first. I looked in the mirror and thought “Mr. T would be proud!” – Clearly went a necklace too far and had to take some off. As for the hat; I’ve been looking for a bowler hat for ages, which I know isn’t hard to find but they’re either too “tall” or too wide for my head. The bowler hat I’m wearing here is one I bought from ASOS last week but it’s too big. Wouldn’t be too good if I wore it on a windy day, but I’m not sure if I would even have the confidence to wear it out anyway! I just always seem to buy hats “incase I need them one day”! Anyway, I’ve found a seller on Amazon who sells them in size measurements so I might buy one that actually fits! I try to avoid Amazon though, as it’s FAR TOO EASY to buy things at literally one click of a button!

I am adding a blog roll sometime this week. It’s something I’ve been meaning to do for months and month! It feels like a daunting task as I have so many favourite blogs and I don’t know where to start! But please feel free to email me if you’d like to exchange blog links and we’ll get it sorted out! x
