Celebrity Style steal

One of my favourite ways to get inspiration when I’m feeling in a bit of a style rut is to head down to the shop, pick up a stack of glorious magazines and spend a whole day folding over corners and tearing bits out, sticking them back together and adding notes until I’ve built up a whole new celeb-inspired look.

Then comes the fun bit – finding the clothes that look star-worthy but at a fraction of the price. I love nothing more than a bargain – especially if it’s a stylish one – and I pride myself on being second to none when it comes to being a fashion detective.

Browsing through an issue of vogue from last year, I came across two of my favourite fashionistas, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, rocking lace and a gorgeous shade of teal.

Lace was big in 2011 and is still huge as we go into 2011, with everyone from the Olsen Twins to Cat Deeley to Kate Middleton rocking lace in a range of colours and styles.

This lush teal blue lace dress with cute capped sleeves and a flattering waistband is the perfect way to get the look, whether you’re going for all-out glamour like Cat Deeley, quirky indie style like the Olsen twins or a demure, ladylike look like Kate Middleton. Just switch up your accessories and you’ve got three celeb-tastic looks in one without breaking the bank.
